Weekend five of six
Halloween lands on the Saturday of our fifth fall weekend, which makes it the best-timed farm day of the season: choose your favorite pumpkin before carving night, wind through the corn maze, ride out to feed the longhorns, and load up on caramel apples and funnel cakes.
Saturday runs our longest hours of the week, 10am to 7pm, so there’s time for the farm in the afternoon and the neighborhood rounds after dark.
The whole point
Most Halloween events near Fort Worth are haunted houses and jump scares. Ruby Creek is the other kind of Halloween: sunshine, hay bales, farm animals, and not a single thing waiting to lunge at your four-year-old.
