Ruby Creek Family Farm
A working Texas farm with longhorn hayrides, a corn maze, farm animals, and 20+ attractions every Friday, Saturday & Sunday this fall. One admission covers the whole farm (hayride $3), thirty minutes northwest of Fort Worth in Aurora, Texas.
Just 30 minutes northwest of Fort Worth in the little town of Aurora, Ruby Creek Family Farm has been in the same family for almost a hundred years, and every fall, it comes alive.

Choose your favorite pumpkin, walk through the corn maze, climb the two-story sand pile, run the human hamster wheels, cast a line in the fishing pond, and cool off with fresh lemonade under the shade trees while live music plays. One admission covers 20+ attractions, and parking is always free. The longhorn hayride is the only add-on, $3 a rider.

Pumpkins of every shape and size, priced honestly from $3–$15, plus the prettiest photo backdrops in North Texas.
Shovels, trucks, and a mountain of sand. Fair warning from the farm: your kids will go home dirty, tired, and happy.
Wind your way through the maze, then celebrate the exit with a caramel apple. Included with admission, like everything else on this list.
Catch-and-release fishing right on the farm — or just skip rocks and take in the view. Bring your patience, leave with a story.
Gourmet caramel apples, funnel cakes, corn dogs, smoked sausages, walking tacos, home-grown angus smashburgers, kosher hot dogs, and fresh lemonade.
A vintage general store stocked with unique boutique gifts, toys to remember the day by, and fun keepsakes, plus live music and shady seats just outside.

Since the 1930s
Ruby “Granny” Peterson came to Texas from Oklahoma territory in a covered wagon. She stood 5’2”, wore farm boots with her dress, carried a rifle everywhere she went, and fished this creek for her dinner. Nearly a century later, her family still works this land, and named the farm for her.

Everything on the farm — the play areas, farm animals, fishing pond, photo ops, live music, and more — is covered by your $15 admission. The longhorn hayride is the only add-on, at $3 per person. Parking is free.
If weather forces us to close, your ticket is good on any other day we’re open this fall. No refunds needed — just come back and play.
Yes — cash and credit are both accepted on site, for admission and concessions. Tickets are also available online ahead of your visit.
