The last mile

Follow the Red Flag

GPS gets you close — here’s how the final stretch goes so nobody second-guesses the country roads.

Make your way to Old Base Road, between Rhome and Aurora. Coming from Fort Worth, that’s an easy run up the US-287 corridor; from the east side, TX-114 brings you through Justin toward Rhome.

Watch for our sign on Old Base Road and turn onto Oates Creek Road. You’re nearly there — keep your eyes up.

Look for the big red ENTRANCE flag at the gate. Pull in, park free, and let the fall day begin.

Closer than you think

Drive Times from Around DFW

Ruby Creek is the closest full-day fall farm for northwest Fort Worth, the Alliance corridor, Wise County, and western Denton County, no crossing the metroplex to get your pumpkin fix.

10 min

Boyd & Newark

Practically neighbors. Boyd families can be picking pumpkins before the kids finish asking “are we there yet.”

15 min

Rhome, Aurora & Justin

Hometown crowd — we’re your local patch. Straight shot off TX-114 and Old Base Road.

20 min

Haslet & Azle

A quick country drive from either side — closer than fighting traffic to the patches across the metro.

30 min

Downtown Fort Worth

Head northwest on US-287 and trade skyline for pasture in half an hour flat.

40 min

Keller & Alliance

The easiest “real farm” run from the whole Alliance corridor — no tollway maze required.

~1 hr

Dallas & Beyond

Worth every mile — ask the families who make it an annual tradition. Decatur and Springtown, you’re about 20 minutes out too.
