Head north through Boyd on FM 730, pick up the signs toward Aurora, then Old Base Road to Oates Creek Road. About 20 easy country minutes, and Springtown is closer still. The big red ENTRANCE flag on Oates Creek Road marks the gate, and our directions page walks you in turn by turn if the back roads get quiet.

West of Fort Worth, the big-name patches all mean a haul across the metroplex. About 20 minutes: north through Boyd on FM 730, then follow the signs toward Aurora and Oates Creek Road. Springtown runs about the same or a hair closer.

One $15 ticket takes care of the day: the corn maze, the two-story sand pile, The Barnyard, the fishing pond, and the rest of the 20+ attractions, with the longhorn hayride as the lone $3 add-on. Grandparents and veterans pay $12, and kids under 2 are free. Tickets & pricing here.
